Exactly. Realizing and being able to point out the foreign policy flaws with the democrat establishment is one thing, but then turning around and saying we need trump, maga, etc is just dumb and reactionary

    Yup

You don’t have to be a MAGA white supremacist to realize the democrats have major flaws

F*** Trump and republicans and conservatives. But the democrats are literally sitting by and doing NOTHING to fight them and get laws passed

The middle has always been the right place to be and to fight so hard in favor of a republican or democrat is just dumb

    You’re right but wrong

Trump made it okay to openly be a bigot with no repercussions. But that doesn’t mean people have given up on fighting for what’s right

It’s just the people that were bigots on the low, aren’t afraid to hide it cus they know nothing will happen

    i hear you, fair assesments
lotta closet conservatives showed up too tho

    Yup

Seen a lot of people I wouldn’t have expected to be a trump supporter or be hella transphobic have came outta the woodwork the last 8 years

    S***s crazy tbh

We are definitely in the middle of a cultural revelation this decade.

I wonder where we will be by the end of it

yeah trump made people more comfortable with just being ignorant and phobic of whatever pretty much

idk if it’s solely an internet thing

Nah it’s not an internet thing. I see these right wing talking points in spaces and places I’m honestly surprised how common it is. Even amongst minority groups like black and Latinos.

It feels like the LGBT and left wing people has stopped being vocal as they once were, the diversity stuff has gone away, people are openly supporting the right and we youtube's community guidelines got relaxed and mad bigots are bring open on the platform

I see the opposite on youtube. They're becoming more strict than ever.

Political correctness was always a farce for the sake of advancing liberal-minded aristocrats

The reality of advancing minority rights is that it fundamentally threatens existing power structures, so actually following through on these ideals is pretty undesirable. And as more and more things are done to advance these rights, they get gradually less effective to keep up the facade. But hey, we got you guys to be treated as humans ! (Just oppressed ones now)

Those who do benefit from the farce have moved onto more damaging policies while still providing useless lip service. Those who dont benefit from it have moved onto more aggressive political tactics in light of their delusionment

love the "we cant say anything these days" trope because when you watch politicians debate and talk in the 70s and 80s they were on average way more polite and respectful in their words towards groups than today

pc always a tool for the oppressor to play the victim cause like 20 people dare to ask for others to be more accepting which is a direct insult to those that actually think they have achieved their status and lifestyle without having massive advantage and benefits society offers them
