My bad I meant I switched from Android to Apple!

Last Android I had was a Note & honestly been wanting one of the newer ones or the galaxies for awhile but once you go Apple you pretty much stuck with it

oh damn nice i have the note 9 now

im assuming you got the 13?

How do you like it so far?

    I want a Google Pixel.

Had the 2nd gen and it was a POS, had to send it in to get replaced twice.

Friend has the newer one and is always having issues too.

That being said free unlimited cloud photo storage for life is cool (don't even have one anymore)

The phone is pretty dope, I mean it does everything you would want a smart phone to do in 2022 but honestly from iPhones 11-13 you won’t see much difference unless you get the pro versions

All in all I just don’t see how it surpasses any of the recent Notes or Galaxies especially with Samsungs cameras being so much better in quality. The phones last longer aswell

I say if you don’t need a iPhone for like work purposes then there’s no point

    I want a Google Pixel.

they have the best cameras but apparently they have been glitching lately according to Marques Brownlee

  • I wish I still had my iPhone 8 Plus

Apple hasn’t had a good phone in a while

But otherwise i stick with iPhone and got an android tablet

  • Apr 20, 2022

Well there are more models that are also more affordable than iPhones so that can be a reason why there are more people owning them in the US. But I still think it's majority iPhones here.

I think globally though Android phones are the dominant phones, and that's mostly because damn near every device runs on some form of the Android OS.

i plan on getting a new iphone later this year. I've been using android for like the past 12 years.

What makes it better in your opinion?

    smoothness + ecosystem + longevity

I buy iphones because they hold value better. In 2 years a used iphone will be worth double what the Android is worth.

I switched from iPhone to android recently simply because it was handed to me

Apple has a sense of community with features like FaceTime & IMessage

Making it easier & more fun to interact with each other versus interacting with others such as android users

From a pure tech standpoint Android phones like Samsungs Flagships are a lot better but Apple has other things to offer than just the tech

Yeah that's the crazy part, Android phones are straight up better techwise apart from the SoC, but the fragmentation is what kills their entire ecosystem. This is coming from a guy that used Android phones for like 10 years then when to an iPhone.

I miss my Galaxy weird enough because I felt more "free", but it's objectively a worse experience in a holistic way.
