I feel you. But for what you’re saying to actually happen the album has to have impact whether that’s in the form of billboard hits or the consensus being that it’s an amazing album

Agreed, but he'd need a modern day Jesus walks, not sure if he's willing to go in that type of bag on his new religious journey tho

when prince went religious he murdered it.

    this song is insane.

he converted to jehovahs witness which doesn't believe christ is god, but he understood that jesus has the power to forgive sins.

It's all smoke and mirrors, he has 30 million liquid that is actual, very real money. We know from Say When Drake has that amount just in his safe. Adidas paid him 140 dollars last year, and this evaluation is based on a multiple of ten. It's also based on the unpredictability of his shows constantly totaling 1.4 billion in sales a year, which we all know is highly unlikely given trends and the unpredictability of the economy itself. He owns 100% of Yeezy on paper, but his clothing makes nothing and he basically couldn't function at the same level sneaker wise without Adidas. He self evaluated G.o.o.d at 90 mill, lol and the properties that he shares with his wife is another 125 mill. He also has a 100 million in debts, you'd be a fool to take this evaluation seriously. I'm not hating on Ye either Jay's is almost as bad.

I mean, most billionaires don’t have “real money” because its better to have the money work through non-liquid assets. Working under your standards, people that have cash on hand but are not competent enough to put that money to work are valued as much as the people who hold large stake in growing assets.

The difference between most of those guys and Kanye is they have ways of making their money liquid should they need it an example of this being Steve Ballmer who liquified 3 billion in assets in one day to purchase the Clippers. Kanye is locked into a very rigid contract with Adidas and wouldn't be able to do anything of the sort. His evaluation is based off his payment of 140 million last year, with the pandemic taking hold he could probably recieve half that this year. The author of the article is far more cynical than even I am.

Yeezy hasn't really experienced many issues because of it being organized over the internet. The brand will be stable till 2026 when Yeezy will be easily liquidable. Really it is a matter of intent. If Kanye wanted easily accessible money, he would probably be holding stake in Adidas but he hasn't.

Adidas isn't going to let them leave with their shoe under any circumstances, so his entire ownership is a falsehood. He makes 10 to 11% off the shoes. His clothing which he does own outright is a nonentity and maybe even a loss at this point.

    This is true
He doesnt have liquid cash even close to a billion dollars
Hes worth 3b based off yeezy valuation but couldnt afford to buy even a 100m stake in a sports franchise tbh
Its just an observation though if the valuation is true he could sell off a stake possibly to have the liquidity
