Asking this in good faith, Explain why. People can offer insight on topics without acting like they have authority on the subject. Tbh there are only a few subjects where I think this mentality makes sense (Black women natural hair vs wig debate is a good example). But I'm not seeing it with this one.
Idk i'm white
Marx was not extremely racist and supported the Union cause during the Civil War advocating for the abolishment of slavery
you ever read some of marx & engels letters? they weren't racist as in the traditional sense of wanting to perpetuate systematic structures, but they believed in s*** like phrenology and believed in some ideas similar to social darwinism regarding racial differences. this doesn't invalidate anything else marx said, but a lot of modern characterizations of marx and engels (as well as what they actually believed) is super exaggerated

It’s because this subject is bigger than no name and Cole. It’s about black women feeling like black men don’t support them. And non black people just don’t have any place to comment on that.
Imagine being immune to any criticism at all from anyone bc of your race and gender
(Notice the double entendre)

what insight would white people have to offer on black womens' experience and how black men and women interact and coexist?
the bigger problem is black people who didn’t grow up around us don’t be around us hate themselves and prefer to be around whites get on here and social media and speak for black people and niggas take it serious
damn, psychological slavery now
Opinion on the situation?
No I wouldn't touch any of these conversations with a 10 foot pole
Donate and shut the f*** up
teach them

I think you can make criticisms of how Noname conducts herself as an activist while being white and not being patronizing. Aside from a white person commenting on the dynamics between black men and black women I dont see the issue

we agree. the latter is the grander issue at hand (i can say that because i'm following it closely). that's the one black people are currently concerned with.
it is. highkey weird. wish they would mind their business
OP lets a white man tell him what to do everyday but not when it comes to Cole/Noname
I got called out for saying "Twitter is trash" not knowing that this s*** was even going on, if I had known I wouldn't have said anything.
If you have a take on black issues and there are too many outside races agreeing with you, chances are you’re wrong
no bs
idek what is this whole thing about, I just listened to the song, is it just some kind of boomer moment from J Cole ? Because it seems like it
thread idea: is it problematic for white people to exist?

It’s problematic for niggas on twitter
responding to noname by saying “this why we date white women”
