Rich white people have controlled the commodity form of music distribution since day one just like how rich white people control literally everything. Nothing new lol. Even black owned labels are operating using white owned currency in white supremacist societies. If you don't overthrow capitalism this is what will always happen to any minority-made culture that becomes commodified and part of the commercial mainstream no matter how well-intentioned or authentic its creators are. Always has happened, always will happen, until capitalism is overthrown.
