Yea i Listened to 808s the other day in it’s entirety and that album was beautiful. Especially considering his circumstances. No artist has ever been that vulnerable on record. That was a pure expression of art. From the album, videos and live performances. That changed the whole game

agreed, however i really dislike the wayne feature one of the only flaws i can remember

Only reason I say Ye is better than JIK is because it had Yikes on it.

That nigga went off on that one. Besides that JIK ain’t bad. Just not a game changing album.

Follow God is better than Yikes though

    1. MBDTF
A maniacal musical culmination that has yet to be matched in grandiosity and potency
    2. CD
Sharp writing, poignant messages, music that is timeless
    3. LR
Orchestral hip hop that transcended the genre and remains fresh
    4. Yeezus
Air-tight, lightning in a bottle anger displayed on sonics
    5. TLOP
Brazen, bizarrely disheveled beauty, mania, thought-provoking collection of songs
    6. Ye (controversy I know)
Emblematic of it’s time and place, perfectly captures the mind of a troubled man
    7. 808’s
Beautifully sad if flawed, shifted the musical landscape
    8. Graduation
Arena-rap showcasing Kanye in his pop spotlight
    9. JIK
His very first average album. Moments of brilliance shine through, but this time it is unintentionally messy

imagine putting a record that came out less than a week ago in an artist's bottom 3... so what factor does time play with this logic?
