Nobody wants to say it but MJ between the time after HIStory and before his death had a huge fall from grace too.

His public persona took a massive hit due to the allegations and his fallout with Sony.

He was OPENLY getting called Wacko Jacko more than his real name in many mainstream publications and magazines.

His skin condition was getting mocked and made fun of. Ya'll remember that old joke about how America is the only place where a poor Black boy can become a rich White woman?

He was getting blackballed and blacklisted in the industry to the point where he exclusively toured overseas.

He was constantly clowned and disrespected in pop culture. Comedy shows, cartoons, and even artists like Eminem were clowning MJ.

90% of MJ media coverage was straight negative. Even after death, he had the whole Leaving Neverland doc attacking him.

This was the same man who was the best selling solo artist in the world and was the most famous musician ever at his peak.

It was very rough being an MJ fan at one point before he passed and everyone switched up.

You been telling the truth bout MJ. That part of history is almost erased. Mf was relentlessly made fun of/roasted. Everything from harmless nose jokes to pedo jokes. S*** was wild

and this just what I found on the first row of the google images site lol there are hundreds of these

It’s really crazy that he somehow f***ed it up again. Before this series of rants he was literally semi-back lol. He was never going to return to peak Ye but he was at peak Independent Ye.

He really had a whole $20 store going and dropped a #1 album and still messed it up again.

Respect to the dead but Much like Kanye he kinda was a habitual line stepper with the sleepovers and some of the FBI findings like that book. in conjunction with him not seeming to lead a typical playboy life from our view or have a wife and s***. Not saying he deserved it but this wasn’t without context

The lesson that they don’t really teach mfs that they should is human perception is what it is. The truth can be whatever it is but what it looks like is what it looks like. Applies much less to Kanye or Cosby or Puff cause they moreso earned their situations but yeah.

Meh, hard to have a steep fall when he was never really universally loved like that his whole career

Obama called dude a jackass in ‘09

Whole time barack was the jackass... crazy how they can control the narrative
