He’s talking about breaking down complex topics which is a unique skill Kendrick has and actively does. That’s what he has over Mac. Mac doesn’t have much advantages over Kendrick but I’m really just asking if anyone even thinks he possibly had any.

mac can rap but his rapping alone never really left me amazed tbh
I’m more amazed how well Mac’s rapping fits his music while still being unique. Reminds me of Black Thought.

Exactly! Kendrick's internal contemplation on record always comes from a philosophical lens, like you said probably stemming from his christian childhood and the questions he's had within adulthood about the morality he was preached to about as a child.
