The one where they discuss Megan contract?
It’s titled pebbles . The one with lil uzi as the cover art
Kendrick fans referencing DAMN doing 350K in pure sales are forgetting that he had physical versions of the album available upon release. He was signing CDs the week the album dropped. More Life dropped by 12AM on the Sunday of it's tracking week, missing 2 out of the 7 days of the tracking week, with no physical versions of it available upon release and still managed to do 505K, just 100K less than DAMN. Everyone knows Friday is the biggest sales day of the entire tracking week and Drake missed Friday and Saturday. Kendrick didn't. He was also coming off the hype of TPAB so whatever he dropped was always going to do numbers meanwhile Drake had just dropped his biggest album at the time less than a year ago with Views.
This time around, pure sales are dead. Even if Kendrick has CDs available, they won't move the way they did in 2017. Same goes for digital sales off iTunes. Even if he does bundles, the most he'll move with that is probably 200-250K units. Post Malone used tour and merch bundles for a sold out arena tour and couldn't move up to 200K pure sales. So basically all Kendrick has is streaming. I can see him doing 500-600K, but Drake will outperform him, most definitely. Drake is the biggest streaming artist and Post Malone is bigger than Kendrick as a streaming artist and his last album couldn't even move 500K units.

I don’t know if drake is but I do think Kendrick is probably waiting
Drake has been dropping new music along with videos since last year. Seems like he's been using that to serve as a pacemaker for fans while he finishes his album. Once he's ready to go, he will, regardless of who is or isn't ready to go. He did that in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018. But like he said, I think a part of him is looking to see what other rappers do while he finishes his own stuff.
Drake will easily outsell kendrick tbh
Self explanatory you just here to spread the story
Drake is a top tier rapper, no denying that
But it's not 2015 anymore, there's more rappers in that bracket now including Kendrick
They really don't sell that much different unless drake has a hotline bling / one dance type song
Also keep in mind drake said he's not doing a long album this time so it could be more equal because of that
Drake is coming through with huge hits. Just wait lmao
He goes out every night for the sole purpose of staying in touch. I can’t believe there are people ITT who actually think Kendrick is going to outsell him
“Kenny easily outselling Drake” might be the most delusional hot take I ever read. Even if Kendrick outsells Drake which I doubt will happens especially with artists being able to have their singles streams count towards their album it won’t be easy. If Kendrick is waiting for Drake to drop I don’t even think the move would be to outsell it would be to put out better music and make the biggest artists music look weak in comparison. Even if a lot of people already feel that way this would guide the casuals into that discussion as well.
Yeah he does care.
And dropping every year will only mess up your numbers
We also dont know if he is able to make enough good music to drop every year 🤷♂️
this tweet still gets me
Drake isn't bothered and has been releasing music since WAR end of 2019.
Kendrick is the one one saving up content for the big album announcement and release.
Drake fans are always eating, be it from loosies or features. He doesn't need to hide in a cave for 2 years to get people hyped for his upcoming stuff.
but he hid in the cave like osama
Lmao Kendrick did like 600k with bundles drake did 700k no bundles.
Kendrick never did bundles.
When did Kendrick stans get so obsessed with sales ? Not a good look...to act like they don't matter for nearly a decade and now being so standoffish about them lol.
