This exact same cycle happened on KTT1 when TPAB dropped. Haters were so desperate for Kendrick to flop after GKMC and the Control verse that there were weekly threads about TPAB being forgotten and a flop and I made posts like yours in all of those threads. It was silly, looking back, because TPAB is so obviously a classic now.

I'm not saying that will happen with Mr Morale because I don't think it's anywhere near as good, but it has made a huge impact on some people and it will have a meaningful, positive legacy going forward.
