on the other hand, you could think of it as a containment sxn, like it might be more likely now to see kiwi farms type people doing their stuff on twitter or whatever.

Also, there's the position that these weren't actually vile people, and the site didn't deserve to get shut down at all. Personally, I don't hold this opinion, but I'd love to hear someone argue for it.
