Yes op,and its not totally because of the content,but how its delivered. Too many one dimensional rappers who have no concious nowadays,they may as well not even be real people. 0 nuance to lyrics,everyone using the same flows/beats,no one cares to have there own take own things etc.

The misogynistic/materialistic content has always been there in Hip Hop,but everyone had their own style and story to tell between all that. Now,everythings an act and rappers are following a template,its literally 0 self awareness and nuance in rapping now. Everyone raps the same s***,in a similar way but expect to be taken seriously.
