So I looked up the music studio near me and it costs $3k to use for 5 days
Just made me think money is such a big obstacle if you want to make music. First you gotta pay for lessons unless you're lucky enough to have family or friends who can teach you, then you gotta pay for the instruments themselves or beats if you're a rapper. Or pay for session musicians if there's an instrument you want on your song but can't play. And then there's paying for studio time unless you want your songs to be sound amateurish recorded at home.
Now I understand why record deals are so important
bro deadass record on your phone and edit on a laptop
rip beats or find an ameteur producer whos beats you fw
Bro, niggas are out here blowing up from making beats/songs on fl studio at home, you don't really need a professional studio if ur just starting out.
You can do most things now a days at home, obviously you’ll need money if you trying to get big though

Yeah im not good enough at singing yet to start making music but i'm thinking of recording just demo versions of my songs at home. I was thinking possibly i could find someone with a home studio setup maybe an audio engineer i could pay to use their home setup i'm not sure yet still
if your broke yeah but as long as you have $500 to spend on mic, audio interface, headphones, etc then not really
you literally do not need a studio
record in your room w a blanket over your mic like travis scott b
Imagine not being able to produce and mix
Just being a rapper doesn’t cut it anymore these days. With how accessible everything has become, you gotta be able to do it all
The real money is in marketing the music and getting it heard by people.
Cause making a song is easy but actually getting it heard by people is a different story
U can make home recordings sound very professional if uve built up ur knowledge which u clearly havent
To fame. Yeah.
To success? That's relative. You can legit make a loyal cult following fanbase off your music and your vocals are recorded via s***ty mics lol.

Bro i can produce and mix mans really attacking me
bedroom pop and diy artists have carved out a lane for themselves. you go off the strength of your social media presence and branding.
It takes a lot of time to become a good producer, so it's normal to pay just pay for beats. Good recording equipment costs money, and studio time costs money. Mixing/Mastering costs money, if your producer doesn't do it for you.

I’m not tryna attack you. Just saying that if you’re good enough at those, then you can learn to do it all yourself and shouldn’t be needing to pay for anything

Yeah ik its just how u worded it though
Young Chop and Chief Keef created an entire movement and they was just some broke ashy ass niggas
Buy a macbook and a mic, download fl and make your own beats. Watch youtube videos and figure out how to sing and rap.
