Only reason to pay for studio time nowdays is to network and make connections because it's so much easier and cheaper to record on a home set up/home studio.

When you start getting serious about music find some friends who into the same things and build together. Doesn't take as much money as you think to start it off.

Yeah im not good enough at singing yet to start making music but i'm thinking of recording just demo versions of my songs at home. I was thinking possibly i could find someone with a home studio setup maybe an audio engineer i could pay to use their home setup i'm not sure yet still

Yeah I’d just recommend you building your own studio if possible

So I looked up the music studio near me and it costs $3k to use for 5 days

Just made me think money is such a big obstacle if you want to make music. First you gotta pay for lessons unless you're lucky enough to have family or friends who can teach you, then you gotta pay for the instruments themselves or beats if you're a rapper. Or pay for session musicians if there's an instrument you want on your song but can't play. And then there's paying for studio time unless you want your songs to be sound amateurish recorded at home.
Now I understand why record deals are so important

Your music won’t be heard or seen if u don’t have money to promote it
And u can’t reach certain platforms regardless of the money u have, u have to be signed to reach the masses
