    No I purposely picked that because op just stated some generic years to compare to each other so i picked some random songs.

    You want to say niggas sound like niggas before is fine but rap is progressing slower than before makes no f***ing sense and sounds like some old head s***.

    Beats changed every 2-3 years in the 2000’s

    Most of rap outside of certain aspects of rage and slums new Alc type s*** all of this s*** is interchangeable since 2017. Niggas like Moneybagg Yo could have dropped any of his projects before or after 2020 lol. 21 and J Cole could drop “a lot” right now and it wouldnt sound outdated lmao

    Meanwhile 2004 type beats were vividly outdated by 07-08 lol. Pooh shiesty could get out tomorrow and use the beats in his email from 2020 and be fine
