charts shouldn't be the end all be all bc you simply cant quantify how big a song is without being around to see how it was being played out of cars, at clubs/parties, how much it really impacted etc.

when u account for bootlegs, mixtape songs, and the fact that listening to a song over and over only became a sales metric within the past decade it can't really be compared till we got like 50 years of streaming data and even then u could only compare songs that both came out after 2015 and that still wouldnt tell the whole picture
