There is less request for double albums today because people don't buy CDs nowadays

Drake could've made Scorpion two different albums like Future did and release them at the same time and it would make no difference

But he did it for more streams / decided it would be more beneficial for him

True. That's exactly what I came in here to say. These double albums have to be good and most just aren't. Most albums with more than 18 songs end up having too much filler despite the genre. Drake's was good, but it was much more single oriented than making a full cohesive body of work.

Only Biggie and outkast have classic double albums so no.
