dude wearing reps def gets way more p**** too cause he more than likely has a winning mindset and can consistently keep up the looks, never go broke doing it and move on with his life while you guys make this clothes s*** way too big of an investment (time and financially) and lack big time in other areas socially and emotionally where you think the fashion can fill in the blanks and it usually doesn't, dude wearing reps knows they're reps and most likely forgets the retail value and doesn't let those designer tags make up for more than half his personality and what happens 9/10 times if he tells a girl it's reps she most likely wont care and probably ask him to actually help her get some 😂 this is one of those things that if we disagree on I def lowkey think of you as dumb lol

The only people more “embarrassing” than someone wearing a rep, is someone who seriously is worried about the legitimacy of what someone else is wearing to the point of getting offended and mad.

And more than likely the ones preaching about buying real and would rather get resells that are priced 10x higher than retail are living paycheck to paycheck too.

So the whole idea they’re offended at people trying to impress with an image above their means while saying they’d rather drop an entire paycheck to wear something that is “legit” but not noticeable in quality to 99.5% of people for their own mental satisfaction of having a real item is hilarious

Reps are a cheaper alternative, tf are you saying. And it's only with fashion ppl even make these dumb ass arguments.

If someone wants to go on a trip to Mexico, but chooses to be on a budget and goes with a budget airline that has $200 tickets instead of a top airline with $1000 tickets it's not an issue.

If someone wants to go to a nice restaurant and they wait til there's a special running with a 50% discount then go, it's not an issue.

Any logical person would applaud someone for still finding a way to enjoy something while not going outside their budget/affordability.

Yet with fashion if someone sees 2 sources selling a nearly identical item and one is $50 and the other is $500 then they choose the $50 with slightly less quality, 'they need to live within their means and stop trying to engage in something they can't normally afford'.

Not sure how some of you got so brainwashed into elitism/classism with fashion but lmao. You look like a fckn dunce telling people they shouldn't find happiness in something with their own budgeted version. We are doomed as a society if someone wearing a Yeezy rep is what makes you mad about our current world.

Your comparing damn near necessities,to luxury items. Also the fact that your acting like reps are official products,a rep isn't an official product. Just like no one needs an IPhone 15 Pro Max(you can get a TCL phone for $200)no one needs high fashion products,you know why both products sell though,cause its in demand.

And this demand creates reps,if you didn't actually want the real thing,you wouldn't buy the rep. Your interest in the real thing is what creates the reps in the first place.

Like I said before in this thread,rep buyers want the reputation that comes with purchasing/rocking certain s***,but at J.C. Penny price point. There is people who buy reps to flex solely just as there’s also people who buy authentic versions to flex solely.

There’s people who buy reps because they genuinely like the item and don’t care about flexing, just as there is people who buy authentic with the same purpose.

People buy real and reps with the exact same purpose.

Plenty of rappers/athletes going into high end fashion stores they can’t even be bothered to learn to pronounce and just buying up stuff to flex on social media.
