People also think providing houses prevents "homelessness" aka street life. Where i live there is a massive "homeless" issue. Majority of them aint even homeless they got funded living space but choose to hang out on the street and drink all day instead of actual work.

Home insecurity is where we can point to in a lot of major countries. Lacking affordable and adequate housing coupled with mental illnesses keeps people homeless. Japan allowed the homeless to take up space in their empty hotels which helped drop their homeless rate to "0%".Or Cuba has highly subsidized housing and multigenerational households.

Nobody’s being dramatic and idk why y’all keep trying to come to these conclusions about who’s been around “real danger.” I’ve been in the trenches my entire life and I’m usually someone who rolls my eyes when people say “it’s getting bad” knowing a lot of s*** has been the same since I was 5 or 6 years old. In comparison to somewhere like Chicago or LA where I live at is still a far cry and it’s always been a matter of if you keep to yourself and know how to move you’re good. Pointing out the significant difference that instead of the crime being casual at spots you would expect it and now the upper class side of town is getting hit in broad daylight, break ins, car jackings, stick ups and other s*** which seems to be a common theme in a lot of places now where it’s more so out of the ordinary isnt dramatic at all.
