Some people use d**** to get through the day
Others use alcohol
Some pray
So how is science different in this regard?
I feel a lot of people use science to justify their meaningless life too
I think Darwin might be a good example, before the whole evolution hoax he was really a nobody through it mentally but seems to be doing a lot better now because of science
what about yall? you guys live meaningless lifes too trying to give it meaning with scoence? lmao how about get a real job
Whatever makes you happy. As long as you ain’t that one d***head tryna shove your religion on people or a nerd ass nigga talking bout how religion is a fairy tale
Science is trash and overrated except when they invent cool things
Actually f*** em they mostly invented cool things that ruined life and very bad things like guns
I wish i was born in the stone age
I agree. Science is just man trying to make sense of this existence
Same with religion tho right?
science is based on factual and objective information rather than subjective experience going on within the conscious such faith or intoxication

sure
If you call one manmade you can’t just say the other isn’t
Science is not fact
he's a troll
I’m not a troll sorry. I’ve expressed my beliefs many times with proof. You just don’t like what I’m saying

how is science not based on factual information then i'd like to be endarkened
sure

Science is not fact
Which one is manmade then in your opinion?
Honestly yes
I'm pro science but mankind without science or religion would be f***ed
Advancements in science give a lot of people hope for the future even though in the end life will still be meaningless and the Universe will end eventually

how can you say for sure that objects drop because of the mass of the earth? its not a fact if you cant check it
you gave it a name, “gravity”, but that name is man made given to something that we dont really understand
the name was given by man, the theory around it was created by man and it might just as well be a bunch of non sense we just dont know
they wrote it in your holy book so you believe in it, but guess what? that holy school book of yours is written by man too
Which one is manmade then in your opinion?
one is man made for sure, we know this
the other is man made according to you, this noone knows for sure except for those with faith
thats why they call it faith
Religion probably drove mankind to make advancements and do great things back in the old times
But science did much more for improving our standards of living and will continue to do so
That's why science is better

Religion also drove mankind to do some pretty awful things too
But the same could be said with science i suppose
Very interesting conversation here 🤔

this is proven because the mass of the moon is measured and the force at which things dropped there is actually roughly relative to the mass of the earth

this is dumb for two reasons. The first is that we actually understand gravity in itself, how it works, and a variety of conditions that affect the nature of gravity. reasons why gravity exists are unknown to us but you have to realize humanity didnt understand gravity as a scientific concept until 200 years ago and we've already made major strides in understanding gravity from a microscopic to a macroscopic scale, so the future could hold the answer to us understanding the reason behind gravity as well too. The second has to do with your reasoning surrounding manmade terms. Manmade terms are given to anything that we experience so to share those experiences with the next man in a tangible and understandable form. Just because a thing or concept is given a manmade name (which everything is) doesnt mean that it has to be understood, but that it can be experienced and recognized.

what does this even mean

“”””””roughly relativ””””” crine so its basically an assumption?
glad this aint one of those multiple choice questions where two answers are really close to each other
if the moon orbits the earth because of the earths mass then how how come it doesnt orbit the sun? the suns mass is way bigger and were so close even the planet next to us and asteroids orbit the sun
