No, he’s a defensive liability, he can’t even guard the oppositions point guard, that’s all Klay.
Watching him defend in the playoffs was embarrassing.
Wonderful offensively. The funnest player to watch since Kobe.

that’s overrated he’s not a great defender but he’s not some turnstile either. who you taking over him?
chris paul exists
was chris paul ever the best player in the league at any point in his career?

Only Magic, I have Steph #2.

When has Steph been the best player in the league? 2016 was his best season, but being a negative on defense and not being an elite playmaker held him back from being better than LeBron

2016 when he was the first and only unanimous mvp and arguably 2021, he creates a lot of shots for the whole team with his gravity especially off ball. that he gives you this insane production without being ball dominant is special.

No but there been plenty of times Paul was considered the best PG in the league
He just crossed top 5 assist all time
He's definitely up there and one of the few true point guards

for sure he's one of the greatest PGs, not over steph tho

Depends how you define what a point guard is
Steph doesn't really fit that description
He's more of a 2

in my book if you're listed as a PG and have started every game of your career at PG, you're a PG lol
He’s up there for sure and you can’t really argue defense if you wanna say magic cuz his d wasn’t s*** either.

His size allowed him to be more versatile defensively and that alone puts him above curry defensively

this is true magic gets the edge on defense off size alone, but is that enough to offset curry on offense 🤔

Yes because he was also one of the best passers of all time, offense isn't strictly about shooting. Also if we're talking about careers Magic was way better in the postseason and had a longer peak (unless steph keeps playing like he is now for several more years, which is unlikely)
