Back in the early 2010s Nolan’s The Dark Knight was considering the magnum opus of superhero comic book film adaptations, but it’s 2022 and so many superhero films have shook the table. So for all my superhero film fans, I just wanted to know if y’all still considered The Dark Knight to be the greatest superhero film ever made, and if not, what dethroned it?

Recently did a rewatch of all three movies,
still excellent, Batman Beings is also so good.

None of MCU movies touch the writing of the nolan batman movies imo.

Yes. Logan and Infinity War are Marvel’s best attempts in topping TDK.

It is considered the GOAT superhero film for the simple fact that it does so many things right as a film period.

The Joker intro scene sets up so many storylines in just 4 minutes

Joker is the perfect foil for Batman in this

The pacing is damn near perfect all through the movie

Yes but that’s because the genre is dogshit as a whole and Reeves’ Batman hasn’t come out yet

The writing, directing, and the characters (some exceptions) are leagues beyond in this trilogy than everything else.

I’d say dark knight > any MCU film.
