It’s a classic movie based off its impact & its thematic execution and stylistically. & because of heath. but really has bad dialogue and the whole movie hinges on coincidences working out perfectly that really feel like your watching a script instead of watching a movie. Def not the best superhero movie but ranks amung the most important
I mean

It literally gets better with time, the casting is good from top to bottom
I think infinity war is pretty much #1
If all you care about is numbers and products sure
I'm far from Nolan trilogy fanboy but it's still levels ahead anything mcu put out and that's no hate to mcu..
First two Spider Man movies feel more like comics to me. TDK a great crime thriller tho
a year later it isn’t even the best batman film LOL
The Batman is legit the most overrated superhero movie ever. It's good but it came and went lol

Nothing's even come close to this

it’s not even good, it’s ok

watched it 4 timez over the course of its year i can’t relate
its cool. very good movie. kinda overrated though.
true to comic books and the scale it can reach, i'd say infinity war is better
They're good but as someone who loves heroes for as far as I can remember I feel like there's been plenty released that I like more since. The Nolan movies feel like they don't even wanna be superhero movies and are above them. Love the last year's version's take on the character way more.

Some cool ideas and a nice aesthetic but the Riddler or whoever he was sucked major ass as a villain

I get the same vibe from The Batman though, it doesn’t feel like a superhero movie, but more like a detective story, which was part of the reason why I loved it so much
I always like dark knigh rises more
probably should run both back and see if I still feel taht way

I really don't understand when people say this film series is "above" superhero films when it's trying something that hadn't been tried at the time.
Making dark "gritty" reboots only happened after this series began. When it began, it was doing something completely new for the genre. It's still very comic book-y and very true to Batman.
It's like saying that Year One is above comics/graphic novels

I agree it's a goofy criticism. He just made it with a similar tone as his other movies.
