Weeknd needs to give the public a break. Or come with something undeniable which TMB, MTAF n new post sony are not
The lame features have definitely happened to him before. TMB not doing well was probably painful for him.

TMB was terrible but not sure if that's enough to say the public is tired of the weeknd. I think they're more tired of that 80s retro sound. I hope his next album completely shifts away from that sound because he ran that s*** thru the ground already.

i think thats kinda the issue. He's stuck singing about the same subjects and the lyrics dont hit as hard anymore. Trilogy was the peak of that songwriting style

And to say the writing is still Trilogy level a decade later is not a good thing. It should have evolved but his topics and the themes have been stuck to the same stuff even when he dresses it up as something else

its much easier to say Abel than the weeknd everytime we mention him.
