it completely depends on him. If he continues with the boring music he's dropping these days then yea it's possible. but if he goes back to his old sound then he can easily continue at the top. He's got the talent. Like, My Dear Melancholy was INSANELY good. More like that and less of ''take my breath away'' bs
Its happening now. TMB fizzled out quick. Moth to a flame not even a hit for weeknd n the return of SHM. Post song might go top 10 for a week or 2 then its outta here
Weeknd needs to give the public a break. Or come with something undeniable which TMB, MTAF n new post sony are not
"drdre"

You like when artists only do the same s*** over and over again?

If the music is good then I don't mind it. I'm all for artists experimenting but that's not even what he's doing rn. He goes for the most safe music you can find in order to appeal to the masses. Do you seriously prefer ''take my breath away'' over something like his ''or nah'' part or something from MDM?
KTT is in such a bubble I swear lol
Deadass. I’m not even a Weeknd fan and even I know the public isn’t tired of him that man is set until 2025 at least.

Ikr. They expect every song and feature by him to be an influential masterpiece that goes number 1 on billboard and spends a million years in the top 10.
he is on his Kendrick 2017 phase, he focused on the bag rn
he will come back with some dark s***
No front but I think you guys miss the point that OP stated in his post. I think there is some truth because his new songs still getting overshadowed from After Hours era. Yeah Abel is fine if you look at his monthly listeners but do they only come for TMB or MTAF? I’m not sure and I know Abel is very ambitious but I wouldn’t be surprised if Dawn era gets a overhaul after seeing TMB not being a hit like many of his others. But will we know what happens in the studio? After liking TMB the first days it became a bit boring to me and I personally think that he was too much on his 80s vibe for this one and I felt like it lacked some of his identity which After Hours definitely had despite it having so many 80s vibes.
2 posters above me suck d***
Thats why this forums wack cos yall cant formulate a coherent response
