It's spent more weeks in the Top 5, Top 10, Top 40 than any other song in history and is the longest running song on the chart of all time.

It's just simply too soon to tell the longevity of the song, but I don't think its far fetched to say it's ONE OF the biggest songs of all time.

It's more likely to assume the charts were dry at the time & not many songs were popping enough to compete, than to call it the "BIGGEST HIT EVER"

Perhaps it could end up being one of the biggest songs of all time, only time will tell, but it will have to measure up against many hits from decades ago that still stand strong.
