Trilogy was pretty groundbreaking idk how you can look at the influence of that project and not admit that
hate is how
Like what are Bruno’s deep cutS?
it’s hard to have deep cuts when 80% of your discography consist of hits
why can't y'all like multiple artists? why you gotta pin each one against another
you think people who consciously log onto ktt want to enjoy their life?
Too Good To Say Goodbye is f***kng amazingggggg
I love Doo Wops and Hooligans but that’s a guilty pleasure album
It is great pop that is exceedingly bland
Yea exactly
He’s improving but he doesn’t have that natural performer gene
The Weeknd honestly gives off vibes that he likes to sit at home with his few closest homies and do whatever he wants to do
It’s like the polar opposite of drake who has the be everywhere do everything perfect amount of exposure thing going on
Literally every song is a hit
the craziest thing is
Abel is nowhere near his peak
his next album is gonna be by far his best one yet
and he's gonna drop multiple other classics following that
and then he's gonna transition towards being one of the greatest actors and directors of all time
and the people that are comparing him to Usher will look back at this thread and cringe for even making this comparison
Soon come
No kizzy

Yea Fr
You can tell trilogy and being closed in and isolated recording his music rather than doing constant tv spots and etc
But he also wants to be on that level and knows he’s gotta be able to do that
Bruno's early work wasn't heavily doing music from the past
!https://youtu.be/SR6iYWJxHqs!https://youtu.be/ekzHIouo8Q4!https://youtu.be/OZLUa8JUR18Bruno was a pop staple by writing pop hits + performing his ass off + beige a multi instrumentalist before he started doing old styles in a very flagrant way
push the genre forward at the same time, I think that’s an extremely important thing to keep in mind.
How has the weeknd pushed the genre forward?
Rnb pre HoB vs Rnb post HoB
Like it’s really not that hard if you’ve been listening to music since the time of doo wops

As if it isn’t a good thing to be compared to Usher

i really hope he's serious about getting into film and that screenplay he said he's writing. would be amazing
it’s hard to have deep cuts when 80% of your discography consist of hits
This is absolutely not true either, first album is probably 60% not hits and second is probably like 75% not hits only his third album felt like it was all hits and that was cause it has less tracks
People itt having normal productive discussion
I am love: MJ is a bonafide scrub compared to my king Abel Trilogy is better than Thriller
At the end of the day being on top for like half a decade and only THEN coming out with Blinding Lights and doing the Super Bowl is objectively legendary material. People who can’t get over Trilogy can’t admit this
Top of what?
