SHAQUILLEI might catch flack for this but I don’t feel like Party was influenced by The Weeknd like that.
It was moreso how The Weeknd pushed the sound and party kind of doing the same thing but way different too

It’s kinda like, party sound reminds me of downtown toronto and the fun of the city, Weeknd reminds me of like the underbelly of the same city and the deoravity
