For the mixtapes (which are his magnum opus) he'll be just a bit more memorable than Jai Paul. Both for different reasons.

As for pop, Abel makes often slightly above average pop, and really good pop songs once every 3-4 years.

Hell, I've been wanting to make a last good "album in the vein of the mixtapes/Kiss Land" (no pop tracks) by cherry picking tracks he released post Kiss Land, and I don't have enough worthy material to fill a 40-60 minutes, 10-12 track album tracklist.

I've wanted to make another album, the opposite of the above, thus aiming for a pop/sunny/feel good music that won't ever become unlistenable, all killer no filler album, but...

You guessed it, I don't have enough worthy material to fill a 40-60 minutes, 10-12 track album tracklist.

If he drops a Thriller length type of album, with tracks which are as-good-as Blinding Lights, CFMF and Starboy title track, or better, he would definitely become a legend, both in the world's book, and in the Hani "the OG fan" 's book.
And I'm looking forward to it.

Is he a one hit wonder? Definitely not.
But he's a what now, 4 or 6, or maybe 8 hit wonder? Who has counted his proper pop tracks? Cause I can't be arsed to count them right now lol

I think he will be a low tier legend if he releases one more hit album and stays relevant for a few more years

Definitely won't be remembered for the quality of his music, but for the sheer number of hits he made at his peak, much like J-lo, 50 Cent and Oasis
