The Weeknd - Megan Thee Stallion - Disclosure - Jack Harlow sounds like a ticket that'll sell
yeah I fully agree w/ this, if the lineup is stacked it's definitely doable. Or even just The Weeknd + Post Malone for example
Why are people surprised this is selling low, he hardly promoted it and said he didn’t care what it sold lol
Ed Sheeran did mostly Arenas though, not stadiums. The difference is 12k people vs 50k+
good point about Beyonce, although her tour with Jay Z did struggle a bit and they had to sell a lot of tickets for $10 in a few cities
this should be the norm tbh.
Overpriced tickets are a huge reason a lot of these s***s don't be selling out.

where he say this im interested
He's only capable of selling out H&Ms and shopping centres (malls) 😂😂😂
(Malls)
No and people itt are really underestimating how big stadiums are and why not that many artists could ever sell out a tour of them. He should stick to arenas
Country is the genre with the most artists on average that can sell out a stadium

Promotion barely matters these days if you're this big; see Drake doing almost Scorpion level streams with CLB when CLB had no single and Scorpion had God's Plan + Pusha beef + Nice for What
J Cole's album also had barely any promotion yet did way more than this
Those aren’t stadiums.
Doesn’t matter how many nights in a row he sells them out, doesn’t mean he can fill up a stadium
That literally does mean you can fill a stadium. If you can do 5 nights in a 18k capacity arena you can do a 70k stadium
The demand is literally the only factor in this convo

Dawn FM doesn’t have any pure sales for its first week because he decided to surprise drop the album and no physical copies were shipped. The projections that we got from HDD were purely from streaming due to the rule changes for first week sales numbers.
He'll easily sell out in Asia and places like South America as they rarely ever get to see him. Don't forget he did sold out stadium shows in Asia in 2018.
The tour he was about to go on last year was about to sell over a million tix but then got postponed. Now North America and Europe are slightly different stories. I think he can sell them out if he obviously does less shows and has a huge spectacle stage set up that not only takes up a lot of space but also gets some positive word of mouth. Definitely needs to bring a really special guest with him too, can't keep the original plan.

damn i'd go to that
180k? i thought he was way bigger than that
bundles made him seem bigger
ig so. blinding lights was huge tho
Europe is literally the worst example to use
The only place he’s bigger in is Canada.
The US i feel doesn’t have many hardcore weekend fans like canada and eu
He was planning on doing 5 nights at the o2.. he can definitely fill out a stadium in London. Multiple cities though?
With Dawn FM projected to do around 150k-180k do you guys actually think this man is capable of selling out stadiums across US & Europe like he's now planning to do?
180k selling out stadiums seems like an insane stretch to me. The list of artists who've done sold out stadium tours is extremely small, even Drake has never attempted doing them. Feels like Stadiums are only for Taylor Swift level artists, artists where people make it a family day out etc.
surely this is gonna go badly for him? what am I missing?
edit (after he proved me wrong)
Why is this even a thread
All girls wanna f*** him ✅
Got hits across the globe ✅
Amazing live singer where I’d get my moneys worth ✅
Why we always doubting Abel
Justin Beiber the biggest pop star on the world sold LESS with his last release

I think he’ll be fine tbh last album had crazy hits this isn’t surprising tbh if a song off this takes off he’ll be good in the long run
I don't get why so many people keep thinking doing the superbowl is some massive insane deal and means an artist is superstar out of this world level
Shakira & JLo headlined the year before weeknd, yall think they'd sell out stadiums? lol
Maroon 5 the year before that, they'd barely sell out arenas these days, let alone stadiums
Justin Timberlake 2018? maybe he could have done stadiums 15 years ago
you didnt get the joke, nvm

wouldn't have changed much, he maybe would have done 40k from pures. None of these sell many pures now except Taylor/Adele
