the uh cmon sample is crazily overrated
People like it because it sounds like Graduation
Kanye doesn’t know how to make a great album anymore
Most of the time when we heard leaks, the final product was ALWAYS better
But post 2016 Kanye is a different story unfortunately
I love the album and it's very substantial and actually thematically coherent. But with so many songs, I'm still stung by the lack of inclusion of Never Abandon, Life of the Party, and Daylight. I was listening to the songs in the vague Vegas tracklist order earlier, including those three tracks, and it just seems like a stronger, tighter, purposeful album that way, despite all the great songs that got left off. And while I've advocated for Donda Chant as a great opener to get you into the headspace of the album, I actually prefer the longer version as a weird interlude. I think in some cases, such as the lack of inclusion of the Donda verse and Never Abandon and other potentially more painfully personal songs, he lost his nerve a bit and got cold feet, but imo they'd give the album extra heft and bring it somewhere closer to a Plastic Ono Band level of emotional intensity.
Daylight?

Look on how many tracks he worked in the last months. People around and on his team in the last months said he worked on material thats worth 3 albums at the same time.
It was clear that he will cut a lot of them. Maybe we will hear all of them in the future, who knows

That Glory track we heard about is in there too… along with UCLA and Last Name. Very interesting.

It's fake. Made by a troll.
No Come to life, Donda, Remote control and tell the vision. Also should have remove all the pt 2s and replace ok ok pt1 with pt 2

you are f***ing insane for wanting no come to life
It absolutely could use some changes but I'm not the kind of person who dwells on that. Until TLOP came around, albums were finished when they were released and I tend to still view albums that way, so if I'm listening to an album I try to appreciate it for what it is rather than what it's not.
Too churchy
bruh what the song isn't even churchy at all other than the random bits of praise and speaking tongues at the beginning but that's far from the whole song. I think you need to give it another shot I get the feeling you listened once and decided "too churchy"
I like the lil autotune bits
kanye going "mayymenewagainnnnahnah" is all it took to make me like the new version more lol
