the last few months tons of s*** been happening in my life and I've finally realized there is no need to stress about meaningless s***. just live life, try to be happy.

There’s always a purpose you just have to look hard enough. See what you want for yourself and go after it

the meaning of life is to find something your good at, make the world around you a better place doing it, and to have a good time with friends and family, to experience all emotions both good and bad to the fullest level without hiding from them

meaning doesn't have to be some grand esoteric concept, like i always thought it had to be

i just realised i want to be an electrician, and im quite enjoying it so far

if i can contribute to construction/maintenance on buildings that people can live and work in safely and happily, that gives me a sense of value in the world. that also gives me a feeling of meaning if that makes sense

I don’t know but is this s*** worth it?

My aunt passed away on the weekend. She had a difficult pregnancy about a month ago and had a pulmonary embolism on Sunday and succumbed to it. My family are super religious and have been reiterating to us that this is all part of God's Plan. I understand they have to do that to comfort us but it's honestly BS. Why would it be part of Gods Plan to take a young mother of 5 away from her kids,husband and newborn baby? What purpose would that serve? What lesson, and could the lesson not have been done without death being the instrument? People say Gods ways are not for us to understand but to me that's just blind faith. I don't know why we're here and I don't think life has any real significant meaning to it. I just think we're here to exist and make that existence a little less abysmal as possible.

It’s whatever you want to give it. Everyone has their own “meaning”. I’ll put it like this it’s great to have something to live for rather than not

But outside looking in? There’s no real meaning We’re just animals. We’re the smartest ones but animals nonetheless

Life has meaning only because it ends

Pursuing hedonistic goals will only satisfy oneself to a point, ultimately it will only degrade your ability to relate to others as you will only see others as monetary transactions. Therefore, the thing that makes life meaningful is developing and maintaining positive emotional relationships with others, including oneself.
