like if someone has headphones on and you keep saying stuff to them even though you see them remove the headphones just to hear what you are saying
is that rude
What the f*** are you talking about man
like if someone is wearing headphones and you keep trying to say stuff to them even though they keep removing the headphones
See if they have headphones in they clearly don't want to be bothered, unless if the matter if urgent or something
So yea I'd say it's rude depending on the intentions
I wear earbuds all day at work and if someone starts talking to me I just match they facial expression and nod
like if someone is wearing headphones and you keep trying to say stuff to them even though they keep removing the headphones
???
They remove the headphones to hear you, that's when you should be telling them whatever you need to

yeah but if they do that once and then they put the headphones back and you keep trying to talk to them

They put the headphones back on while youre still talking to them?
You're tryna talk to one rude ass motherfucker then
They put the headphones back on while youre still talking to them?
You're tryna talk to one rude ass motherfucker then
no like you said something and you are done then they put the headphones back on and you keep trying to say more stuff to them

Oh I understand now. Idk if rude is the right word for that but it's a nuisance for sure.
My girl does this to me all the time when I'm trying to follow a lecture in the living room and it irks me
It does depend but it’s often a sign that they don’t want to talk
yeah so if you keep trying to talk to them and assume what you are saying is more important than what they are trying to listen to isn't that kinda rude

you need to work on your use of nouns, who are you trying to say is rude? the headphone wearer or the speaker?

idk i'm asking
Like say you stop someone on the street and they do that then probably stop trying to talk to them.
But if it is a friend or someone you know then often times it’s really no big deal to remove headphones to talk/hear better (for me at least, I never really mind with friends)
idk i'm asking
I guess its pretty situational, depends on how important the speakers conversation is and how intently the headphone wearer needs to listen to whatevers on their headphones

like if you are just trying to have a random conversation or if you are just trying to listen to music
i mean rn im wearing headphones and you keep trying to say stuff to them even though they keep removing the headphones
like if you are just trying to have a random conversation or if you are just trying to listen to music
seems like the headphone person is ranking music above pointless conversation
