Even alludes to a CB collab in that interview which ended up being Time Flies, so it's plausible and even likely to me that a bit of Demo tapes was CLB, along with other leaks.

Then you factor in the sheer amount of Ye bars on this, and yeah the album sounds and feels recent.

Controlla, Feel no Ways, Weston, Fire & Desire, U with Me, would all be better than 90% of CLB

I'd probably take every Drake album and mixtape over CLB except for RFI, Comeback Season, and maybe Thank Me Later but even with Thank Me Later I can be swayed.

imo views sounds incredible sonically but when you really boil it down, there’s only a handful of songs with substance. the bangers don’t bang, it’s the deep album cuts that are the best tracks on there.

on clb, there’s few bangers but they hit hard, minus way too sexy, and the production is just so concise all the way through for the deep album cuts. i think clb wins imo and I love views.

Kiiiiinda agree with "the bangers don't really bang" although Grammys is dope - it's basically a precursor to Life is Good, and Hype is a fun song
