I clearly called out how rushed it sounds too
I don't know what that means. What about it specifically sounds rushed compared to any other song on the album? Its not any more repetitive than most hip hop beats, and there's actually a lot of specific, different sounds happening throughout the beat. Its quieter and sparser, but I would argue all of those quirks means more time was spent on it than just taking a sample and looping it over and over.
This is the album that has a song that's literally just an uninteresting 808 pattern and generic snare and you're saying this is the worst beat Kanye's made?
Ye is truly Kanye’s worst album
id say jik but jik has 2 good songs wheras this has one
The beat isn’t bad because it’s simplistic. Hands On beat is simplistic asf but it works because it matches the tone of the song. This is bad because it doesn’t have a reason to be simplistic
On a 7 song album this track has no business being this underproduced
what does the amount of tracks have to do with how the production should sound???
I don’t think there’s anything bad about it necessarily. No mistakes is way worse lmao
I love that song and the song in OP
N I know u wouldn't LEEEEEEEEEEE-EEE-EEE
Song isn't even that simple, got some complex progressions tbh. Only simple thing is the drums

If u listen to the beat, it clearly sounds unfinished especially like the song is gonna reach production peaks but never does
yep its bad but i get the poit its like a ballad for kim
violent crimes is his worst produced track who tf thought that a minimalist organ was hard f***ing first beat i ever made in garageband ass 4 bar loop
id say jik but jik has 2 good songs wheras this has one
on an album with ITAKY, ghost town and especially no mistakes theres no way thers only 1 good song
what does the amount of tracks have to do with how the production should sound???
If u only got 7 songs they all gotta slap, no room for filler
If u listen to the beat, it clearly sounds unfinished especially like the song is gonna reach production peaks but never does
I guess. Idk it just never stuck out as being so much more lacking than any of the other songs on the album, or the worst Kanye production ever for that matter. What makes it sound unfinished to me is how he delivers that “I KNOW YOU WOULdntmmmleammmmm”. It sounds like a demo mumble.
Great track, one of my favorites from the album. That run from Wouldn't Leave to Violent Crimes is actually really soulful and heartfelt.
Hell of a life out now
NO, any beat on MBDTF is amazing, hence the consistent 5 star ratings
If u dont like this song you have no soul
I never said I didn't like the song, just the beat sucks. The vocals carry it heavily
