What you mean by 2016-2018 style rollout moments?
Seems like after 2016-2018 till now rollouts don’t seem like a big deal with months of buildup
He would have benefitted with one of those albums in the early 2010’s where there were multiple hot pre singles, a solidified aesthetic, interviews, etc. the whole 9. Jeffery was kind of that but he needed that moment for HyTunes in fall 2015 right after the Wayne s*** but I guess it leaked and he does Slime Season instead. Which is still a classic but I felt like they just kept having him drop tapes instead of a concentrated potent debut album and by the time we get to So Much Fun as his real debut it don’t feel like a true debut album
Greatest artist of all time (not exaggerating)
Legend is a time-focused term to me and I don’t think it’s fair to try to throw Thug into that context yet. His prime wasn’t even 10 years ago
Imo he’ll BE a legend. But more accurately I’d call him one of the most influential artists of the 2010s. In rap, to me, it’s Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, J. Cole, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, Migos, Chief Keef, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, and XXXTENTACION. They defined the era and all of them WILL be legends
Lmao. Everybody a legend ig
Trolling? I expect better from you lol. Thug changed the course of an entire decade of hip hop. How the f*** is he not a legend?
What's the name of the tape?
disco thuggin. there's 4 songs on it and this is the closest thing available with 3 songs only

Preciate it
At least the Givenchy remix is still out there and you can just add it to this and make a playlist
Hate when small things like this become lost media

yeah funny how all 4 songs are available but in different places. this tape was available on band camp for the longest too...idk why he took it down
Even calling him a trap legend undermines what this guy has done in his career, one of the most influential versatile musicians in modern times

Maybe you should hit homie up and ask him to put it back up
so barter 6 isn't considered his real debut?
I never heard niggas call it that but in retrospect they might as well consider it that
My dawg
I can’t imagine what popular rap would sound like rn without thug and future
He’s a convict.
But yes, he has impacted modern music. In addition to trying to have Lil Wayne killed.
