He would have benefitted with one of those albums in the early 2010’s where there were multiple hot pre singles, a solidified aesthetic, interviews, etc. the whole 9. Jeffery was kind of that but he needed that moment for HyTunes in fall 2015 right after the Wayne s*** but I guess it leaked and he does Slime Season instead. Which is still a classic but I felt like they just kept having him drop tapes instead of a concentrated potent debut album and by the time we get to So Much Fun as his real debut it don’t feel like a true debut album

Legend is a time-focused term to me and I don’t think it’s fair to try to throw Thug into that context yet. His prime wasn’t even 10 years ago

Imo he’ll BE a legend. But more accurately I’d call him one of the most influential artists of the 2010s. In rap, to me, it’s Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, J. Cole, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, Migos, Chief Keef, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, and XXXTENTACION. They defined the era and all of them WILL be legends
