I would be a fool to deny that the Iranian society is filled with a variety of political opinions and that every Iranian is pro government. However if there wasn’t a significant amount of patriotic and pro government citizens the Islamic Revolution would’ve crumbled years ago.

A protest whether it is righteous or not does not reflect the views of a whole society. BLM protests happened yet there is a large portion of American conservatives and centrists who think that black people should just shut up and take their abuse.

I support Iran and the Islamic Revolution because for me and other Shiites it is a beacon of hope in a world where we are constantly oppressed by Sunnis and non Muslims alike. I support Iran because as someone who is part Palestinian they have been one of our only friends in us and Lebanon's resistance against the Zionists.
