In hard terms, an ally is usually a country you have a military defense treaty with, or some form of official documentation to aid in the event one falls into war. Similar to NATO, Warsaw Pact, U.S.-Philippines, etc..

China only has this treaty with one nation: North Korea. And it came to its defense during the Korean War. It does not have official defense allies with any other nation.

Why would you expect China, a country that's prioritized economic development and avoidance of war for 40-50 years, to enter the Middle East trap in 2026? It will continue to economically support and make weapons sales if that's what Iran wants. This isn't charity

We're not in 50s-60s Cold War posture as much as Americans might think so. China isn't going to fall for the trap U.S. wants them to.

What would rushing in this conflict accomplish? U.S. is already angling to be bogged down without increased Chinese support so far and damage its own ability to defend its bases and allies, which will have terrible consequences on their war planning for East Asia (a policy victory for Beijing). Why would China interfere with their adversary being a dumbass?

I don't think it as an immediate collapse, but it allowed Iran to locate and isolate those with the Starlink terminals. They didn't just jam it they tracked down the terminals. And once that was done the communication that was keeping the movement alive died, no one had connection and they were all compelled to stay home or hide

Starlink is simply a MOSSAD tool made to cause a rift of social disturbances within the cultural fabric of Iran. It is a high end propaganda tool.

It was supposed to be far, far harder to jam Starlink than what happened, which is why U.S. was shocked and couldn't proceed with the more immediate bombing plans they had to "aid protesters." It is likely China aided them in jamming this. The speed they did it was not supposed to happen. Israel wanted the crackdown to happen far more publicly and it didn't.

U.S/Musk already deployed Starlink to Ukraine. That's why they can stay online. Its a U.S. "defense" tool
