was reading that Suwayda is basically preparing to try to separate from Syria properly instead of remaining an autonomous governate as they just announced a formal military coalition. the idf apparently said they will send troops to support said coalition in the buffer zone. my understanding is that druze-israeli relationships are pretty complex and likely worse than the druze-syrian equivalent so i wouldnt be surprised
