Bombing the s*** out of Gaza City right now. There's gonna be some horrible images/headlines in the coming days

It's crazy how nobody is really stepping in at this point. Like the most everyone will get is a symbolic recognition in a week, which will only be met with more airstrikes and annexation

"Brazil's declaration of intervention at the ICJ, invoking Article 63 of the Statute, leverages its status as a party to the 1948 Genocide Convention to influence South Africa’s case against Israel, marking a rare instance of a Latin American nation directly engaging in a high-profile international genocide dispute, with historical context showing Brazil’s growing assertiveness in global human rights since its 2016 political shift."

"International law experts, citing a 2021 study in the Journal of International Criminal Justice, note that interventions under Article 63 have a 40% success rate in altering court rulings, suggesting Brazil’s move could pressure the ICJ to expedite provisional measures amid ongoing reports of civilian casualties in Gaza, as seen in recent X posts."

Thanks guys! Thanks for waiting after most likely hundreds of thousands of people were slaughtered before the worlds eyes and the UN declared it a genocide!

Thanks! I cant imagine the bravery of these three states

Glad countries are recognizing Palestine as a state now after millions have died and there’s nothing left but rubble

True, but all three of those countries are still arming them militarily.

This is big! A thousand more Palestinian deaths, and they'll probably recognize what's happening there as a genocide!

  • Such f***ing nothing bullshit.

  • Lock down trade

  • Sep 21, 2025

This "recognition" is bullshit anyways since it comes with the conditions that Hamas ceases to exist and that a future Palestinian state is fully demilitarized

I’m hoping the public are smarter than this. Palestine won’t end up on the UN council because America will just veto it. This move to “recognise Palestine” actually means nothing.

Some of yall are just overly pessimistic
nobody expects this to change anything
This is nothing if not performative and contradictory, but its just a sign of shifting politics on the issue in the west

Problem is, we may converge at the same talking point of a genocide taking place, but when you zoom out to see how we got there, it's a lotta folks who are missing the root issue by like a lot, and it makes moving forward more challenging. That's why you hear Stamer still suggesting a two-state solution as if it's something feasible, or Bernie Sanders stating that what's happening is a genocide but also saying Hamas started this on Oct 7 and they're a terrorist organization etc.
Yes, Palestinian recognition is important, but where do we realistically go when all we've seen is nothing but lip-service from people who "condemn" the horrors they help fund?
