israel's Labour Court in 'Tel Aviv' has ruled that the ongoing strike across the 'country' must end at 11:30 GMT, according to local media outlets.

Earlier we reported on the israeli government filing an injunction against a general strike today by one of the 'country's' largest labour unions, Histardrut.

The strike was declared to pressure the government into agreeing to a ceasefire deal in Gaza after the deaths of six captives held by Hamas triggered mass protests across the 'country.'

Britain will suspend 30 of its 350 arms export licenses to Israel due to a "clear risk" that the equipment could be used to "commit serious violations of international humanitarian law," according to Foreign Minister David Lammy.

"This is not a blanket ban, this is not an arms embargo," Lammy stated in parliament. "We do not take this decision lightly." He also stressed that the suspension does not include parts for the F-35 fighters, which are among Israel's preferred aircraft for bombing Gaza.

The development non governmental organisation Global Justice Now has called the UK’s decision to suspend 30 of its 350 arms export licences with Israel a “half-baked ban” which “risks maintaining UK complicity in war crimes”.

A statement from Tim Bierley, a campaigner at Global Justice Now, reads:

"Under huge pressure the government is waking up to the fact that it must stop arming Israel. But this is a half-baked ban which risks maintaining UK complicity in war crimes. You wouldn’t deal with a dangerous arsonist by simply reducing their petrol supply.

This announcement doesn’t go nearly far enough. Britain is still providing military goods to a government accused of genocide. That position is morally reprehensible, and has very little support from the British public. We must push on for a full and complete arms embargo."

Nearly a year of genocide and all these f***s can do is just under a ten percent cut on weapon shipments while ensuring that these pieces of s*** will still have their beloved F-35 parts...

U.S. universities spent the summer strategizing to suppress student activism. Here is their plan.

Schools across the U.S. have altered policies and even landscapes in an attempt to make a repeat of last spring’s Palestine protests impossible. The result is a far-reaching war on free expression and the increased militarization of higher education.

🚨 Traitorous forces of the “Palestinian” Authority dismantled explosive devices set by the resistance between #Tubas and Tayaseer, on the exact route the IOF takes to invade the city (Media 1).

Shortly after the explosives were cleared from the area, buses full of occupation soldiers began to arrive in the area in preparation for an invasion of the city (Media 2).

The collaborators of the PA launched a similar campaign two weeks ago, dismantling explosives in a similar area in Tubas, while also launching a campaign of abductions against resistance fighters in Nablus. It was clear that these actions were meant to pave the way for the ongoing wide-scale IOF operation across the northern West Bank, being confronted by the Palestinian resistance in the “Horror of the Camps” battle.

Guardian - Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has suggested there could be partial suspension of military operations in Gaza to allow young children to be vaccinated against polio. In a statement, Netanyahu’s office denied an Israeli television report that there would be a general truce during the vaccination campaign which begins on the weekend, but said it had approved the “designation of specific places” in Gaza.
