    This is cope

  • Apr 17, 2023

thats crazy cause I was thinking he's mad he had to be perfect his whole life the art is look I'm going to present someone who isn't perfect here and I want to see your reaction.

I don't care if you don't like it or not I'm going do this

The inner child on stage and all the changes in the songs are I'm like even if you see me as perfect in still this person who thinks he's made mistakes (he represents this through changing all his perfect songs)

The no stream is a choice bc he wanted people to be able see the raw self though a lense (which is bad quality streams)

He's representing our world view on perfectionism bc he's saying someone like me who you think is perfect also has many regrets

Hence the “heaving is guiding and following my dream”

The fans were a part of the performance and they probably don't like that

But it also fits the art bc they started to leave once he wasn't showing the perfect self

That's the thing (he can sing perfectly) but he didn't

    The message is

Even someone the fans look up like me isn't perfect and lives with regrets and wants to fix with his inner child

No musical artist is purposefully doing performance art at a paid concert, and if that artist is doing performance art,at a concert where people paid to see him perform "music",he is officially a pretentious a******.

People call it cope, but you have to intentionally avoid playing any of your big songs. It’s not like he just sucked and couldn’t sing or anything. He chose to make it as convoluted as he did, and maybe it was more of a disaster than he anticipated, but let’s not act like he couldn’t easily of just went up there and did his top songs lol. Not saying his choice was good or bad, but it was clearly a choice.

It was not performance art he just got high and changed s*** around last minute and then had to make it up on the fly
