EpisodeYes, I rap. I love Hip Hop music. It’s my whole life. I don’t demonize any of the things mentioned in my post. But you can still recognize that something is there and call out the hypocrisy. I hate cancel culture, especially when you consider how truly hypocritical it is.

Feb 28, 2021·2 repliesi've said this before but if you spend any amount of time on twitter then you have a radically different perception of reality than the average person. tory lanez has 18.3 million spotify listeners and probably more on AM, and that's the most successful "cancellation" of a hip-hop artist to date. the only thing that can truly stop an artist is putting out garbage.

I’ll admit. I’ve screamed Black Lives Matter while 21 savage raps about doing hoes dirty and popping niggas in the mouth just for looking at him wrong. I’m not without fault here lol. It is what it is. I say control what you can control and don’t worry about the state of the genre or what everyone else is doing. Everyone is a hypocrite

For one the rappers you’re talking about most the times haven’t shot anyone so
Actually Shooting a girl is worse than rapping about shooting someone yes
But two
Even if a gang member shoots a gang member, they both agreed to be in a gang and took the risk of getting shot and shooting people who would shoot them, vs shooting an innocent person because you’re upset at them
