How is it controversial? Fans of a genre that glorifies a whole bunch of bad s*** will still have the audacity to try and cancel someone for lesser, irrelevant s***. That’s literally jus exactly what it is, not controversial.
cancelling isn’t real man chill the f*** out and go eat doritos while listening to r kelly
But if you say black people have no place to talk about Metal, suddenly that’s a racist statement. Hip Hop is global, deal wit it and shut the f*** up bozo.
Was metal born out of a lack of resources due to a racist government defunding from black and brown neighborhoods, reeking so much havoc that Bronx was literally looking like a warzone in the 70s and 80s?
I didn't think so. Try again p****.
So is there objectively no other choice than to become a gang member or is that just what your environment has led you to believe is the case?
As a 12 year old kid you’re from a neighborhood where you can’t leave and the opposite gang is gonna treat you like a gang member no matter what you do and the only way to have any sorta protection from getting beat up or shot at is joining the neighborhood gang what do you think most kids are gonna do? A lot of the time they’re gonna join the gang sure they have a choice but not much of a choice and even if they choose not to join the gang they can still get killed because of the gang it happens all the time, death by association and they have no control over that
"racism agaimst white people"
you niggas wanna be oppressed so bad

You rarely see us talking about metal and what the state of metal should be and s*** though yet yall always got some s*** to say about our s***
Yes but wasn’t the song literally used to incriminate him because of the circumstances? So either way, the way things turned out, that song wasn’t exactly fiction lmao.
I’m not sure, I wasn’t following his trial that close.
But I don’t see how can they use a 2 year old song on him. He wasn’t saying he was going to kill someone, he said he already did.
Nah there’s always a choice.
I’m from Baltimore, probably one of the most dangerous cities to have been growing up in and no one ever forced anyone to do s*** unless they wanted to be involved.
Niggas don’t really wanna speak on it and just blame the environment but there’s absolutely a choice. Idk if this the right place to discuss it.
Aye shout out to you bruh 🙏🏽
It’s lovely to see young niggas from your environment with such perspectives as it is rare
I’m from the suburbs bruh so I only know s*** off empirical evidence, which is why I ask so many questions on here to get people’s personal perspectives
But I absolutely agree that there is a choice. Wouldnt you say tho, that a lot of the people around you genuinely feel like there isn’t one rather than them thinking they are just making a bad decision instead of a good one?
People love to act like they’re on some sort of moral high ground on social media. They still listening in private lmao

Yes thats true but most gang members are conditioned from a young age to think that s*** is cool and they're only option. Im from Illinois, not from Chicago but got fam there, and most of the gangs are full of shorties now cause of that mindset. You right about it being about choices too though. It is a complicated thing though, this country's racist past and crack are huge parts as to why too
And @op really don't wanna get into "who started who" if you wanna talk about metal
shoutout to Jay Hawkins and Death.
metal is a subgenre of rock
rock was created by blacks
honky
Okay racist scum. Suck my d***.
cancel culture ain’t even real like that, no one gives a f***, s***s just used as a boogeyman
also the times where it arguably does happen, people just want accountability for someone saying/doing f***ed up s***, and these same a******s go and scream about “cancel culture” give me a f***ing break
Absolutely agree with you
You don’t think this could apply to domestic abuse at all?
Like think about someone like Eminem and his childhood. I don’t think Eminem hates his mother the way he does for so long and ends up writing Kim had it not been for the way his father treated his mother which led her to treat Marshall like s*** and create this hate for women.
Idk maybe i just dont see it that way
I grew up around both gangbanging and domestic abuse
I dont agree with gang violence but i can see where it comes from and what causes it.
