I hate the “impact” argument. Music being impactful and being good are two different things. Albums are impactful often just because of outside factors from the music, propped up narratives and all sort of nonsense.
There are plenty of Freddie Gibbs that aren’t impactful but are way better than really impactful albums. Impact is like hype.
