According to an interview with MTV, Eminem was so moved by Tupac's life and work that he wrote a letter to Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, asking her to consider letting him produce the album. Shakur agreed, giving Eminem the go ahead.

Loyal to the Game debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week-sales of over 330,000 copies in its first week.

you dont have to be a technical rapper at the level of big pun to make classic songs and albums

plus even the best technical rappers with the most complex rhyme schemes were not on the level of tupac's honesty and songwriting

    pac's albums >>>> kool g rap's albums

see what I mean? It's easier to rhyme words in a complex way than it is to pour your heart into what you write

for example compare vince staples to kendrick lamar ....one is better skill wise but the other has more meaningful s*** to say

I have never denied Pac doesn’t have classic albums. I will always argue he will.

Look realistically neither Pac or Koop G know how to make albums so I’m not fussed either way. I would maybe agree pacs album are more enjoyable just cause he’s more interesting but I’m not fussed either way.

Kendrick is a better rapper than Vince staples but I do understand what you’re trying to convey.

Imagine thinking you should have more say in Tupac's catalog than his own mother.

imagine stanning Eminem at all. I feel like most of his stans aren't people that listen to hiphop at all. At least not to any other rappers than those lyrical spiritual miracle people

But it’s obvious she just didn’t wanna deal with doing another album so she just gave it to the most popular rapper at the time to do it.

Oh, I agree it was misguided, but everybody had the best intentions. His mom probably got a substantial windfall from it. The people ate it up. There's no insidiousness here. It's not like it defined Pac's legacy. It's trivia.

the second flip legit sounds like a hyper pop remix of a tupac song
    just needs chipmunk vocals

it sounds like the drums are almost missing

No it didn’t ruin his legacy
But it didn’t help either which it could have if it was done right. Obviously the only people losing I. This situation are pac fans who want actual pac songs. Not refurbished Eminem songs

Most albums that get released range from average/unmemorable to bad. What can I say? I'm sure Em and his mom thought it would be better. To say this is a sin when Pac's catalog is vast and inconsistent as hell already is dishonest.
