He won already? 😂
Son what is going on in here? I may take off from work to laugh at half this thread

I know
Trump is going to spank his ass
It's gonna be close. There's no evidence to suggest trump will win other than doubt that the polls are representative of how people really feel, which is understandable, but outside of that there is no evidence to suggest trump will win it
need a modern more successful eugene debs
even a FDR type person would win a lot peoples hearts
i always will say this but someone which runs economically left but socially right will always win

You select cabinet members assuming you’re the president elect
He’s neither, this is f***ing hilarious lol
I can’t help but wonder how the right will behave if Biden becomes President
yeah lmao there's like a slightly less than 1% chance it's an electoral tie, would be so nuts
It would have to be a total upset where Trump loses all the Midwest except for Ohio, then surprises in Arizona, Nevada, and New Hampshire. And New Mexico (which Gary Johnson over performed in in 2016, getting 9% where Trump lost by 8%).
So, somewhat plausible in that if it happened if it would be fathomable, but yeah everything would have to fall perfectly into place for that

i am telling you who is putting in if your worried about him going left
we will see if he wins

yeah for sure, you'd be able to pick up a f*** ton of working class people with rhetoric like that. FDR type much more realistic than debs lol

nothing its exactly like Clinton and Obama

exactly what i am saying people loved trump in 2016 because he was populist and he was gonna bring jobs back (which he hasn't done) spending 5 billion for foxcon to hire 50 people in a shed isn't productive

day to day depends a lot on if they can keep the senate. if they can then more of the same of obama's last term. just making everything as slow and gridlocked as possible
on a broader level it will be interesting to see if they double down on the trump movement or try to forget him as quick as possible and rebrand to gain back centrist sympathies. that part will depend a lot on how big of a loss the election is i think
I mean it could very well happen again in the future. Wondering what the fall out will be if trump loses bigly (not that bigly)
If Trump loses, I think republicans would reject Trumpism and nominate an Anti-Trump candidate while trying to reshape the narrative around them (someone like Romney).
Meanwhile Democrats would take Biden’s victory as “centrists win elections” and would try to fight off leftists for a little bit longer.
If Trump wins though, 2024 would be a far right Trump style candidate vs a far left democrat. Or Trump 3rd term vs Obama 3rd term
trump will lose because
1. his running boring GOP rhetoric instead of the one he ran in 2016
2. Covid response was terrible
3. People sick of the bullshit, they just want to go back to normal (which is just as s***)

obama isn't far left tho but i can see a far right vs far left soon

Joe Biden has no campaign slogan at all 😂

yeah that's the difference man, a lot of working class people in swing states bought the trump movement because they had been left behind by both parties in the past and actually thought trump would be different. now a lot know after 4 years he's not
one of my homies is in politics in pennsylvania and he's talked to a lot of people who feel betrayed by trump for not actually doing s*** for laborers like he promised. obviously just an anecdote but i think it's representative of a lot of people's feelings
DNC will rather lose then run a far left person
lets not act DNC isn't bought by the big corporations

Exactly why they’re in trouble and are overdue for a rebrand/rebuild
Trump is Regan 2.0

people don't care i don't vote for a candidate for a slogan they vote for policies which they like
i know it builds up but what was obama slogan i can't even remember

I was in the middle of typing this exact thing lol
Also it seems like the Dem Establishment is generally fine with ACB on the Supreme Court as a conservative majority means they cant be expected to pass much of the "progressive" legislation they've been promising
