still kills me that she included FEFE in her album hahah
it didnt count for sales tho but yea that was sad lol
Her music quality nosedived after Pinkprint; accompanying that was the weird hiatus she took which led to the come up of more artists to fill her spot.
By the time Cardi popped off, Nicki returned on her high horse with bitterness of a 'replacement'.
The records produced from that mindset came off as entitled, snobby and overall b****y which rubbed people the wrong way. Not only that, but she was super toxic and sensitive as f*** when it came to comparisons which is inevitable in the rap game.
Add in the fact that Remy bodied her on wax while her attempts to brag about outselling Remy were on a track that flopped and you have even more insecurity.
Queen Radio, her brother's case, her relationship with Kenny and friendship with 6ix9ine both before jail time and post-release only aided in the fact that her image changed.
She's also been trying so hard for the last few years to get a #1 by hopping on already popular songs as a remix feature and they're all mid and scream desperation.
So sad tbh.
Do artists do that though? Only other instance I can remember is Pick Up the Phone with Thug and Travis but I assume it wasn't exactly a 'feat' but more a joint collab?
Remove Nicki's verse and that s*** is bad.

She's been doing good. She even had an international hit that was a big deal, Tusa.

Not a solo Nicki song.
And while I'm sure the numbers are "good", the point is her career has lost its authenticity and thinned out years ago.
Everything seems forced at this point.

To me she fell when pop fell off and rap blew up.
But now pop seems to be recovering while rap is still on that trap phase.
She was a featured artist on both of those brought and paid for number 1s
One of those number 1 had the greatest fall in billboard history
It took Nicki 10 years to do that
While Megan did it easily without a
Debut album .,,,
Don’t even get me started on Cardi accomplishments
Took Nicki 10 years to do it yet you claim she fell off the year she did it?
Make it make sense

Remix of an already popular song that plummeted right after. And then feature for with the hottest moment that also plummeted after.

We all know why Say So fell. And it has nothing to do with Nicki.
She also dropped this this year, she good for now. She will most likely take a break to be a mom now like Cardi did.

Drake using his pop/R&B success to inflate his rap success was always corny as well. Imagine if Lil Wayne’s most popular music was s*** like How to Love but he said he was the king of rap? 🌽
Aren't Lollipop and How to Love two of his biggest selling songs ever tho?
Nicki has rap hits, not just pop hits. They're not as big as her pop hits but they do exist. It's just hard to stay on top forever. She came out on Young Money in 2007, she's still doing well 13 years on. It's impressive.
There's only around 3 female rappers ever who can compete with her musically too.

Eminem kanye jcole etc aint sellin like they use to either. i guess they fell of to
can u call any musician the greatest without extreme commercial success? if kendrick was underground, would we still consider him the GOAT?
Yeah. But I think it's less credible if they're in a commercial genre. There's GOATs who didn't have extreme commercial success but were ahead of their time, ultimately influential or made underground music that sometimes defined a scene.
Trollz #1
the next 69 single #99
If we going by that meter, the previous 69 record before trollz was #1 also. But lol why are we judging Nicki features and not her actual songs
Nicki the greatest female rapper, she got some bad personality traits but it doesnt change the fact she can rap better than any other female when she really wants to and yall gotta respect the f***ing queen
There's literally tons of female rappers that rap better overall bro

Lol come on now. I know you not that delusional. How many other features has she dropped this year. They still on the charts?
When her album drop its gon be more excuses. We'll be here tho
Drake fans aren’t nearly as bad as some of you make us out to be
If you look at some of these other fanbases and the s*** they say and do on twitter and what not it’s not even close.
Also to the point of Nicki doing well on streaming I personally disagree. I think she’s underperforming. Queen didn’t do great on Spotify and her fan base seems nonexistent on AM.
My point was that she did a poor job of handling the transition to the streaming era and most of her fans didn’t make that transition. Similar to these old pop stars like Katy Perry lady Gaga etc.
Isn't she consistently in Spotify's top 20 artists from any genre with no current project out. Maybe those stats aren't reliable, but that sounds like great numbers to me
