Need a thread of everything bad Biden administration has done to get the full picture but I get what you are saying
You should make it, I’m interested
I don't think it was the breakfast program that got him killed
Also, dual power and mutual aid are not the same thing
no, but they go hand in hand
no, but they go hand in hand
Rn you're simply displaying a poor understanding of theory and history
You should make it, I’m interested
lol I am trying to figure out a way to even figure that out and what you can truly blame or hold a president accountable for versus the system itself. I just listen to my democracy now and chill

democracy now is cool but extremely bias
I get most of my news from international sources
Mutual aid is dependent on capital in the first place
mutual aid lowers the dependence on traditional capital and the capitalist class and helps fill in the gaps of a capitalist society. which is why it's the first step in a nation like America that has missed the window for a large scale labor revolt and needs to be reprogrammed to a vision that makes that more acceptable
lol praxis > theory first of all
second of all, yes, mutual aid is an important step in turning a place like America which will never have a worker's revolution in it's current state into a place that will accept socialism
decreasing people's dependence on the capitalist class and on capital in general is very important.
Reading theory is just as important to praxis as vice versa. Acting like one is less necessary than the other is simply proof that you are acting without a set of well defined and non-contradictory principles
Mutual aid doesn’t make you less dependent on capital since the means of production are, guess what, controlled by capital! It simply disseminates it through another layer of abstraction
The primary direction towards socialism is labor organization, community organization, and the construction towards a dual power structure that can challenge the capitalist system while providing for those who make it up.
Rn you're simply displaying a poor understanding of theory and history
no, I'm not really. we are discussing 21st century America and what it takes to build a socialist society here.

So you're using 20th century America as your blueprint?

Bias in what way but yeah international sources hit too

mutual aid is important in creating community organization and therefore labor organization before creating a dual power structure, which is again, my main point.
we are in 21st century america where the labor movement has been eviscerated. not 19th century Britain.

It’s extremely leftist
Too much ideology not enough news

Lot of words to tell me that capital and sufficient amounts of it are necessary to sustain any large mutual aid project
I could start a breakfast program tomorrow. I'm gonna need a ton of f***in money tho

yes, capital is necessary at first, before transitioning into a dual power structure.

You can take a loan start a non profit
yes, capital is necessary at first, before transitioning into a dual power structure.
come on man
Biden surprised me man’s actually doing some good stuff. Never expected him to forgive up to $20k in student loans or do mass pardons for weed. S*** should be commended.
You can take a loan start a non profit
Non profits actually quickly wind up a lot of them focusing on profit based on who invest in them. Its a crazy industry. One that we need a documentary on

How are you less dependent on capital when you’re buying the exact same groceries and experiencing the exact same exploitation but instead of providing for your family it’s just your neighborhood
And everyone’s paying the same amount too. It makes no economic sense. The group cost is the same, you’re just giving the product to someone else for free. Organization should be done to fight exploitation by the system, not to disengage from it
come on man
mutual aid is a stepping stone to dual power. You need to organize the community before jumping directly into a dual power structure. Mutual Aid is one of the best ways for community organization in America.
yes, capital is necessary at first, before transitioning into a dual power structure.
And that structure would still take capital to maintain.
