Nah. Fw sales aren't that high anymore.

Eminem, Drake, and Wayne couldn't even crack 300 fw last year.

There’s like five to ten artists rn in the current charts climate who are even doing Dark Lane numbers let’s relax before we call that an L

I'm here for the hype with first week numbers dying out. We're in the streaming era. What matters/should matter is how much longevity your album can have months after it's release.

    It's a W either way

Yeah I’m not really tryna call it an L because doing these numbers right now is impressive

I do think that Cole got a boost just off the basis that music has been SO dry that the first big artist dropping will do fine

I lowkey think the numbers would be a bit smaller if artists were dropping more regularly

Is he gonna make physical copies eventually??

pretty weak isn't it? feel like drake and kendrick gonna both do in the 500k range

No s*** no one thinks he’s bigger than drake or kendrick

Taylor and Ariana Grande did those numbers too. Seems like more than 400k isnt doable in current days

What were the initial projections for them

  • May 15, 2021

The nail in the coffin for Cole’s career, embarrassing numbers for a member of the “big 3”

Album sales are counted different now. Taylor Swift’s last album did 329k first week. This is a W for Cole, Especially since it’s only 12 tracks. Kendrick will do 350-450k, Drake will do 500-600k. ( unless they release 30track albums)

Her last project release was #2 behind a peak Trav.

Her latest project release is #2 behind a resurfaced Cole.

    Unlucky.

This. Let's see how many albums crack 223K first week this year before counting that as some sort of underperformance.
